Did you know nearly everyone in the whole country can now get Virgin Broadband? Our broadband service comes in two flavours depending on where you live – Cable broadband and ADSL broadband
However you get your Virgin Broadband we’ll give you unlimited downloads, unlike some other broadband providers. After all, downloading is what broadband is for, isn’t it?
Virgin Cable broadband
To keep things simple, our cable broadband packages come in three easy sizes: M, L and XL.
All our packages also feature unlimited downloads and internet security as standard (firewall, anti–virus, pop–up blocker, privacy manager).
Up to 2Mb
Great for web, email and simple downloading.
Special offer: £4.50 a month for the first 12 months when taken with Virgin Phone (usually £18)
Up to 4Mb
Good if you need more speed to send photos or download files.
Special offer: £11.50 a month for the first 12 months when taken with Virgin Phone (usually £25)
Up to 20Mb
The fastest option for downloading music, videos and playing online games.
Special offer: £23.50 a month for the first 12 months when taken with Virgin Phone (usually £37)
And with size L and XL, you get extra internet security – parental control, anti–spyware and identity theft protection. You also get ‘Broadband Extras‘ – loads of exclusive content including free music downloads and games, worth over £35 a month.
ADSL Broadband
If you live outside of a cable area, we can still deliver you a great broadband package via your BT network.
That means speedy broadband, a flexible phone deal and many of the benefits of our cable broadband packages including unlimited downloads.
When you switch between ADSL broadband companies, they need to pass a code onto each other, a MAC (Migration Authorisation Code). This can slow things down. You don’t need one when you switch to cable. You don’t need a phone line either.
